Welcome to the homepage of CSUO a pakistani social aid organisation (NGO). Our name is our program, our aim is to support poor people in the rural area of Jacobabad and Sindh in Pakistan. We are active in different fields. Beside our two schools with actual 2385 pupils (February 2008) we operate a Mother-Child-Health-Center, run Adult Education and support poor families with micro credits.
VICTOR PUBLIC HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL
The Victor Public Higher Secondary School Jacobabad Sindh has been running since 1985. The school is not restricted to Christian families and is running purely on humanitarian basis. About 2000 students are getting formal education. Most poor orphans and disabled students get free education, books and uniforms. The students can get the education from kindergarden to intermediate classes. This program is vital in this country, where 74% of the population is illiterate.

MOTHER AND CHILD CARE CENTERS (MCH)
The aim of this program of our NGO is to provide maternity facilities to women of this rural and under-equipped area where 600 women per 100 000 die each year during pregnancy. It happens because in Pakistan only 8% of women in rural areas have deliveries with trained attendant.

MICRO CREDIT PROGRAM
The district Jacobabad is one of the most developing districts of the Sindh province. The major population of the deprived lack of basic facilities and these people want to do something, but due to meager income they are unable to achieve their goal. The majority of the rural area consists of farmers. In the city area there is a big amount of jobless people. The poor farmers get seed and fertilizer on interest, which is 10% to 30% per month.

HELP FOR VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS
CSUO celebrated Christmas with the people affected by earthquake and also distributed gifts in the form of winter clothes, sleeping bags, blankets and food.
But our biggest aim was to provide the shelter houses to these people and now in first consignment we provided 220 shelter houses to affected people as a Christmas gift.
